Our Tasks

By the Directorate of Statistical Research and Promotion Department;

• The department develops published and visual documents for promoting the activities of GDSAS and SAS Associations.
• All news in national and local media about the institution are followed up by the department via the media follow up agency.
• Periodical institutional journal called "Dayanışma" is published by the department including issues, experiences, researches and cases with the field of social relief and service in addition to activities of general directorate and associations so as to share them with public, related people and institutions.
• Detailed information used on the website and other published documents are prepared.
• "Impact Analysis" research is done throughout Turkey so as to research impacts of social reliefs and project supports developed by the General Directorate on beneficiaries and determine how effective the activities would be on decreasing poverty.
• A workshop was organized in July 22-23, 2008 in Ankara Dedeman Hotel so as to evaluate and discuss the results of impact analysis research with other firms and institutions, and during the workshop a report considering new strategies and politics was prepared so as to make services of the directorate more efficient.
