Journal of Social Assistance and Solidarity is published biannually by the Republic of Turkey Prime Ministry General Directorate of Social Assistance and Solidarity from 2010 onwards.
The aim of the journal is to provide a medium and an intellectual platform for debates and new ideas related to poverty, solidarity and areas of social policy in general. Although main topics are mentioned above, any other research related to them are also welcomed. Within this framework, the journal aims to form a common language among the academics and the implementers as well as bringing together theorists and implementing institutions enabling them to benefit from each other’s perspectives.
It is believed that Journal of Social Assistance and Solidarity will play an important role in improving the scholarly development of the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Solidarity.
